 We've been hard at work to proudly present to you a NEW and IMPROVED Super Parenting Social Network (SPSN)! We've moved the network to another software platform to offer you more features for a greater social networking experience. For your convenience, you may access SPSN by clicking the community link on SuperParenting.com or by visiting SuperParentingSocialNetwork.com.
Some of the new features include:
- Single sign-on (SSO)-One set of login credentials for our entire site including our online classroom and social network.
- Points & Rankings-Earn points on your site-wide activity for rankings and prizes.
- Audio & Video-Add audio or video via upload or live recording from your computer's webcam and microphone.
- Live Audio & Video in posts- record live audio or video into a blog post, forum post, comment or private message to another member.
- Live chat- chat with other SPSN members via text, audio and video.
- Rating- Rate media and blog posts across the network.
- Share your content- More options for sharing your content on SPSN with widgets for placement on your own blog or website or other social networking sites.
- Improved Groups- Join groups and when adding your audio, videos, pictures or blog posts to SPSN you can also add them to your groups (helping to focus interests and special needs of parenting groups).
- Member moderation- Ability for members to flag inappropriate content or spam.
- Site-wide search-enter a keyword in the search box and pull-up all relevant content.
Logging in for the first time
One of the abovementioned features, a site-wide single sign-on (SSO) requires that you supply a username. If you were a member of our previous SPSN site or newsletter list, then the name you provided on your previous SPSN profile or newsletter application (or an abbreviated version thereof) will be used as your username. You were also assigned a new temporary password.
To login to the new network, go to SuperParenting.com and click the login link in the left column. Click the forgot password link, enter the email address you used to sign up for SPSN and a link to reset your password will be emailed to you.
You may then use your email and new password to login to the website. You will be taken to the community page where you can access all of the features of the site.
If you are a new user, merely click the login link in the left column of SuperParenting.com and click 'create an account'. Follow the directions and you will be emailed a confirmation link. Once confirmed, you may login to the site.
