Here at Super Parenting LLC, we've decided to change the Super Parenting Pledge to the Super Parenting Oath. We've done so in an effort to better serve the parents that utilize our services as well as to clarify our purpose in writing the oath.
We've discovered that in using the word 'pledge', many parents mistakenly thought this was a plea for them to pledge or donate money in some way. This is contrary to what was intended when we initially wrote the oath. An oath is defined by Random House Dictionary as:
The form of words in which such a statement or promise is made. A vow or pledge.
Our goal is to motivate parents to REMEMBER, REITERATE and HERALD their dedication to parenting their children by making a promise, vow or pledge to be super. In other words, to take the Super Parenting Oath.
